I posted al almost duplicate thread yesterday in the “favorite trucking company”, so I’ll start again here.
Does anyone have any experience driving for Sanderson Farms? In my case, it’d be in the south GA area, in either Moultrie or Adel. They’re hiring feed truck drivers on indeed, and they start out at $25 hourly, which is pretty good for this area with overtime. What is it like to drive for them?
I’m currently earning $18.50 hourly driving a dump truck paving roads, so this seems like a big step up in pay. Any reason I may not want to apply with S. Farms?
Edit: This would be a local job, not OTR.

A reason why wouldn't want to apply there......because you don't really want to? Lol drivers are either looking to be persuaded or dissuaded when it comes to making career choices it seems. If the 25 an hour works for you, go for it. Another driver can tell you what it's like to drive for them, but it'd be his own point of view, and it may not tell the story. I'd say go for it, then come back in here and tell us all about it. Then future Sanderson drivers can have a point of reference on here.

They start at $25/hr, or "Up to $25/hr" ?
