ECDFF31A-4A1B-4E3F-A668-6F8FD6AC5385.jpeg Disguised as a security guard for Allied Universal! Palestine Tx, the processing plant on Sanderson Farms Parkway.

I pull up for my pick up, the BROKER has TWO numbers reversed in the pick up number. So another guard and I figure out the correct number. Broker says "Oops, yep that's it".
This big pile of chicken crap decided I HAVE to HAVE a whole new dispatch sheet from the boss to show him. He can't call his boss, he can't call shipping to verify every other bit of the load info is right but two backwards numbers.
I've never been forced to show anything to pick up a load. Just the pick up number, secret handshake, whatever... So I snap doofus's picture for the boss. He comes over to my truck demanding I "step out of the truck". When I tell him to go practice safe sex with himself, with much less wording, he starts to write down the DOT number starts talking about how I'll just have to pay for the damage then. What damage? I ask as I hop out of the truck. He then gets in my face at such a close distance I don't know if he's fixing to fight me or kiss me.
Now, the other security guard that was there, and helpful at first was watching this all. And when I mentioned this guard would be a witness to the other's actions, she just walked away.

IF I EVER go back to that place, I'm gonna wear this shirt.

I know. It's such a horrible company that requires the proper paper work to pick up their product.....

Paperwork? What do they need? Birth certificate in triplicate? They had the proper load identified. I have never had to have crap from the broker, from whom the trucking company booked the load. Pick up number has always been fine. First one was completely correct except 2 numbers were backwards. Infact it was 0803 instead of 0830. Every other part of the pick up number was right. Including customer, delivery date and delivery location. But I assume because of not having this "proper paperwork", that makes it ok for this fool to start threatening to say I damaged anything when their and my camera will prove no damage occurred? It's ok for this chicken turd to get in my face like he was about to start kissing my neck?
    Good to know. Point taken.

Op I'm guessing this is your first time at a poultry processing facility ?
Sorry but that farms part at the end of the company name doesent mean it's a trip to the farm .
Welcome to the protein business and whether it's beef , pork or poultry it's all pretty much the same .
Stinky , gross, rude and all pack plants are the same ...and if you are gonna be a meat hauler learn to deal with it .

There were a few firsts, but loading chicken wasnt one of them. You guys don't have to agree. Truckers are oppositional by nature. Look at the rest of the responses given around here too. I honestly cant say I am surprised.

Security is tasked with preventing fraudulently taking product, hence the reason some are so unpleasant about it.

I don't haul backhauls of food much anymore, so I don't have the issue of not being known when I arrive, as seldom as that is for me. The front loads are usually from where I park and the occasional frozen load brought back from where it's stored? Just showing up at a plant makes suspicion part of the job for them, especially if the numbers don't match.

When I was an O/O I quit going to chemical plants. Chicken plants are the same difference. Their method of operation should be banned from the earth & its atmosphere.
