San Antonio truck stops

Seems like there i had the least problems at the J on 10 east. The closer to the fuel lane the better.

 

There is literally Eagle Pass Texas, this one is my personal favorite in that part of the USA. Barely two truckstops together in east end of town and a sonic etc within walking distance. Nothing but pasture land, ranches and quiet fields around the east end stops there.

None of the other stops south or west of San Antonio hold any attraction for me, San Antone has hookers you won't believe. The Radio would light up with them arguing which has the least amount of physical defects for the customers. It's disgusting.

Which is why I laugh at the sheer mess that Truckers are exposed to and frankly it's a stain on Texas's honor.

 

If your headed east on i 10 there are loves in luling and seguin , a large rest area about 620 and a few smaller ones along the way
( all east of 1604 anderson loop ).
You mite want to download truckers path at the play store .

 

Im downloading trucker path from the google store right now. It's time I learn what is possible with a pocket computer equal to the 70 pound 2000 dollar monster that once sat on this desk 18 years ago...

 

New road ranger at encinal ...and it's nice and clean , I don't do layovers at Laredo truckstops anymore .
....they're dirty , noisey , pricey, crowded , will wait in long lines for everything , rude service .

 

Maybe one of you can tell me if Eagle Pass is still the same bucolic place it was always in my day... Minus a few flies in the dining area and a couple of underweight mexican urchins full of piss and vinegar... lol.

 

The stops in San antonio are fine, these guys are in some kind of past fog
