Which one is better. I'm single with no kids, so I don't know if I really need either one.

Costco is the best of all of them from what I see. Although you are correct....no family = no need.

there really isn't any Costco in my immediate area, closest one is about 50 miles or so, in MA.

Sam's clubs are closer, like all of about 6 miles from my house.

however, i go to a warehouse club here (which we are over-flowing with) and that is called, "BJ's"...

for Berkely and Jensen. i think they got thier start in MA as well. i think they are mostly here in the east coast area, maybe as far west as Jersey, where they do (or did) have a d/c center i once delivered to.

i too have no actual need for such a "club warehouse", but when i do go there, i stock up on many items, then i hand out some to my elderly folks, and my sis or her daughter.

what i sometimes do not appreciate is the size of the products they sell, like 55 gallons of mayo...(just goofing on the warehouse club theme)

i save money for sure, but it is not an everyday shopping spree. for that, Wally-World, and my local small to large supermarkets and small special stores.

so unless you shop, and give some things away to family, do not bother.

what i found funny, is that they have a car buying service, that i tried.....

yeah, right, a car dealer 55 miles from my house.......

Does Cotsco sell cars? My next car is an Elio. $6800.00 off the show room floor. 84 mpg.

They hit the show room floors in 2016.

Costco is substantially better than Sam's Club, and they're so much cleaner too.

My town here in southern New Jersey has a BJ's too. I also think they're a good wholesale club, but I'm pretty certain they're only on the East Coast.

There is a Costco in Clifton nj. I walked thru it yesterday it's pretty nice.

I was thinking which ever one is closer. But you all are saying Costco.

BJs there was one in chi town when I was a kid.

I though ganthony was going in a different direction at first.

Member of BJs, Sams Club and CostCo. Prefer Sams Club. Has less in house brands.

Costco is the best hands down. In every aspect Costco is better. Even delivering to Costco is awesome.

Costco is the gold standard of receivers... Hands down.

We have Sams, Costco and BJ's in DE... I like BJ's

(Save the jokes, I know we all do)

I' ve never been in any warehouse club but Sam's. Being single though I could never justify the cost of membership. However I would go from time to time with my sister. I would get a box of tissue paper I think it was 18 in a package. I used the heck out of them. I also got a lot of pens too. Just the non food things most truckers use a lot of. I could get windshield washer, rainx in two and four packs and save a fortune over what I had to pay in the truck stops.
