Ryder truck rental/leasing?

i work in the shop for ryder and i can give you a little bit of info. first off as an individual you wont get the best deal when it comes to renting a truck or trailer. first off hey are going to want a deposit and want your full financials(credit insurance, accounts, etc.). More than likely since your a new first time customer they are going to try to get as new of a truck as they can find, and the trailer should be fairly new, but that is hit or miss. depending on whats going on the truck should cost you between $110-$140 a day or about $600 a week plus .10 a mile, and a $6 a day environmental fee, since more than likely the truck is going to have Def. I'm not really sure on the trailer rates, but i would guess about $50 a day or $200 a week or so. the company standard is for all the trucks to be set at 65 mph, but you might can ask them to turn it up, but they wont turn it up to any higher than 70.
just make sure if you get the truck and trailer to give it a full inspection because you will be responsible for all damages, and tire damages. Also give it a good look over because in most case the truck has been driven by every Tom, Dick, and Harry, and in most cases they cant drive and have a tendency to be very hard on the equipment and like to drive over stuff.
