Rush Truck Centers

My brother works for one in OKC. It's the only truck shop in town that pays flat rate (evil cousin of commission) and there is a ton of pressure to get the job done quick, fast, and in a hurry quality be ######. They're a non-union shop. The mentality is that if the truck makes it out it'll be many many miles down the road in a few hours so as long as the job is good enough to make it out the door... Also the labor rate is sky high, parts have a huge mark up, and they add on all kinds of bs charges to make more money on the repair bill. Rush Truck in OKC will squeeze you for every dime until it hurts. Just FYI.

 

Stay away and do not take your truck their. They have this attitude if you didn't by your truck their then they will work you in sometime the next day. Outraegous shop rate. Day shift will put it off to night shift. Salesman think they are smarter then you and see if you can get one to help you.

 

I agree fully with Big John. I have a 2007 379 Peterbilt and went to Rush in Houston because the clutch pedal was sticking. The first question the service writer asked was if I had bought the truck there. Of course I hadn't, so I had to sit for almost 5 hours and ended up having to pay for the repairs. They said the problem was only covered under warranty for 20,000 miles. I will never go to Rush if I have a choice.

The only Rush I like is in Nashville. Forget about the rest of them. No I did not buy my truck there.
