getting ready to do the spring pin bushings on my 06 t-600. the factory bushings are rubber, the spring pin is made into the rubber bushing so they are none greasable and they are pressed into the spring eye as an assembly.
question is, has anyone used the polyurethane aftermarket bushings sets? just lookin for somefeed back before i buy my bushing sets.

From what I've seen, the rubber bushings seem to offer decent service life. Don't have much experience with the poly bushings, but I've heard they squeak. May just be truckstop lore.

The polyurethane are more durable and much stiffer, and often come in colors other than black, they also are more resistant to petroleum/chemicals. No down sides to them really.

I would expect a bit harder ride from polyurethane bushings because they are a harder material. Just my .02 cents worth
chalupa Thanks this. -
They are a bit more cash in the front but I use them in the south.......UV rays don't degrade them near as bad as rubber. Excellent choices for SOB hand smash areas like lower radiator supports and torque arms......and they will stiffen up an old suspension. Make sure you use engine build lube or molly grease on all the bolt shafts or they will squeak like a 1960 Ford wagon......( with Faux wood sides )
( Multiple colors available too !! )
