I would like to hear from truckers who currently work for Roehl and get some feedback on your experiences with this company.

Of all the research I've done, I've made up my mind to join their Training program. I'm in the process of setting up my DOT medical and drug testing.

Baring any medical issues, I have a tentative start date of October 31st in Appleton, Wisconsin or November 7th at the Georgia training facility.

Anyone on here want to share some ins and outs of the training process with me?

I also (maybe jumping the gun on this one) would like to consider becoming an OTR trainer for Roehl in a few years.

My goal isn't to start with Roehl and only stay the 15 months the contract requires, but stay full time, long haul and long term. Possibly for the rest of my driving career.

Thanks in advance for your advice, stories, help and support.

I contacted them; not the other way around.

After 4 grown kIds and 47 years under my belt, I thought it was time to do something I wanted to do for a change.

Those 4 kids were a lot of work and the 47 years were no price of cake but I wouldn't trade any of it for anything in the world.

I did a bunch of research before choosing Roehl as a first company. I never regretted coming to Roehl. They train you well, give you all the support you need and treat you well. Their equipment is new and well maintained and they keep you running.

Of the fleets out there I would chose national or Silgan dedicated. JMHO. Roehl is a great place to start and to stay with for the duration..

I went through Appleton for Orientation. Those guys and gals are top notch. You will learn a lot and have a great time doing it!

    Good Luck!
