Just ran a oil analysis in my Detroit 60 series it has 923000 miles and it shows bearing wear and fuel of 2.5 percent

    2007 Detroit 14l

fuel I know I had a injector for bAd that’s what probably caused it.

as far as rod and bearing if I’m changing those anything else I should have my mechanic change or look at while he’s replacing those? I want to hold off on entire inframe for another 8-9 months but want any recommendations on any other things I should have my mechanic look at.

    attached in my oil analysis

    There is nothing to change.

A main bearing is considered to be the "Bed" in which your crank shaft rides. (Many main bearings actually surround and hold that crankshaft in line, in balance and in control to impart the work aft to your transmission)

Once the bearings there go bad, your shaft starts to jitter, then viberate, then start eating away at the rest of them finally your engine will just simply literally make a "Choking" sound and die with a small clatter you never heard before.

Its fatal in time. Ive gone through two engines this way. Both of them on death day in summers each were hard to start as if they could not find the right timing anymore which lead me to wonder WTF. I got my education not long after.

I'd leave it alone. Especially if your going to inframe it in 9 months.

Its prob just showing a little bearing wear from the fuel dilution issue you had. Just drive it. Those engines generally dont need rod or main bearing replacement between inframes

Save your $$$, a little fuel didn’t ruin bearings, just thinned oil out. I ran mine with a bad injector, put 10 gallons of fuel into oil, till it shutdown. Fuel/ oil leaking from front main seal. Still seeps oil. Had about 900 k at the time. 3 yrs, 300 k later. Still going strong, So far, Lol
