Hi all,
Wondering if this is a good place to start for a woman. I have no professional driving experience so I'd need training. Unfortunately I am not able to pay for trucking school at this time. Only driven my dually which I'm sure is nothing in comparison to a mixer. Does anyone know if this is labor intensive? I'm 5'2 and 130lbs so I wouldn't want to injure myself. Any info or advice would be appreciated.

Robertsons out of Corona, Ca. right? Yes they train and test too, so no DMV to worry about. Mixers, bottom dumps and transfers. Plenty of work, days nights. A mixer requires you to handle the "chutes" which weigh a few lbs. Bottom dumps, you just drive.

Its labor intensive. Its also a job for slaves. They start you off at 14 per hour, 60+ hours a week and you have to call each morning to find out your start time.

Cement mixer, reddy mix truck. 3 axle round barrel mixing the "mud" as it's driven.
