This is another good truck stop. It is a little older and parts of it appear a bit rundown on the outside. However, don't judge a book by its cover.
We discovered it by accident when there were not spots at the Flying J just below it. Usually, it is not very packed (although I hope it will be more so after this review).
The place is relatively clean, well-managed, and has a laid-back atmosphere. They have a decent convenience store, and you can actually rent a shower and a hotel room for the night. I never looked into the hotel rooms, but they are there.
The Pit Stop Cafe has marvelous food. You get a LOT for what you pay for! My husband and I ordered a medium pizza one night, and we couldn't finish it! It was loaded with toppings! The burgers are huge, and French Fries always come out sizzling hot. There is a tv in the cafe part that you can watch. It is usually on a movie channel.
I recommend this stop. It is below PIttsburgh, but worth it. If you're near Smithton, pass the Flying J and go up to Roady's. You will be glad that you did.

I didn't even think about that, to be honest. (I rarely imbibe.) You are right, though. They do have a good selection there. And, if you're ever dissatisfied with anything, they make it right!
