Igloo is good stuff. Even get parts for them @ Wally World, Academy, ect. Just don't drop them out of the door of your sleeper. They don't survive falls well.

I took my little cooler/warmer (six pack) apart ready to change out the fan only to find poor solder connections to the power plug. Redid the solder and now it's working like a champ. I would bet a similar thing happened to your cooler. The road vibration eventually broke that cheap connection off.

So far my Burton burner is working well. If it breaks I'll grab my Coleman propane stove from home..

My road pro coffee maker worked for two weeks before it died. Now I use it for a paper weight. :biggrin_25523:

The Coleman does pull some power.Mine takes about 48 hours to pull the batteries down.
Good thing my truck has automatic battery monitor. It turns everything off if the voltage drops below 12.2 volts.
I like the large size of the Coleman, holds plenty of drinks and sandwich stuff.
I will try the Igloo when the Coleman gives out.

I have a Koolatron upright cooler, the one that looks like a fridge. It works pretty good and doesn't drain the batteries if I turn the thermostat up a bit when I park at home for my reset.

If you mean the KCR40, that's the one I have and I love it. Had it almost a year now and wish I had bought one sooner. :yes2557:

As for Road Pro, yup, agree, it's all junk. I do buy the lunch box oven, because I figure it's worth it even if I by 2-3 each year, it still saves me money to cook in the truck vs. eating out. I like the Tracker lunch box oven, but can't find them anywhere anymore since Pilot bought J. Of the big 3 truck appliance companies, I like Tracker the best. Yet Road Pro is the easiest to find.

My experience with Road Pro or Diesel products; JUNK. Spend a few $$ extra and get a good one.
