Something fishy there... 134 trucks, 134 drivers, and a filing of 20,705,000 miles? I highly doubt any company has their drivers and trucks averaging nearly 155,000 miles/year legally. Add in Chicago, and its suspect.

Further curiosity is that they are listed as MMJ Transportation INC., DBA Road Legends... but the Sec of State shows no MMJ Transportation INC., only a Road Legends LLC in another city or MMJ Trucking INC. that is dissolved. Basically, neither the DBA nor the INC are properly registered with the state.

They also have no terminal, their home is in an office in the rear of a truck repair facility.

Add it all up? Yeah, more than fishy.

Yea that mmj thing was something else i had seen in the research i did about them. I believe it's one of those deals where that's what they used to be called before their shadiness caused them to have to change names.

Basically just avoid any company that’s based in Illinois or that has anyone on the phone with a Russian or Eastern European accent .

Plenty of decent companies based in Illinois. Just beware of chicago area scam outfits.
