i found a couple of insurance companies and the one i found the cheapest with was rigqoute. what im wanting to know is if any body can tell me if they are legitimate . never heard of them and with a down payment under 1000.00 dollars for a new driver for a million dollar policy has got me wondering. the 1000.00 is the initial down payment. have any of yal used them or know of them are they reliable if not what would be a good one to talk to.

You need to beware. Some of these companies are not selling the kind of insurance you need. For truck insurance you need to find an agent that insures trucks and they will get you several quotes.

You need a million liability and $100,000 cargo in most cases. Then you should add an umbrella or business policy for another million. Don't forget comp and collision. Rates depend on experience, location, equipment value and MVR.

An experienced driver might pay $5,400 - $8,000. A driver with no experience will probably pay $8,000 - $12,000, with a 500 - 700 air mile operating radius restriction.

They usually want 18 - 25% down with the balance in 10 payments.
