I mainly dealt with little rock and dallas dispatch, i'm assuming they are all as disorganized as little rock.

I see them in Laredo a lot. Looks like they've got good equipment.

I have been talking to a recruiter this week about a similar run. They paint a pretty picture on the phone.
Since I have a job right now, I will stay put. Thanks to silverado93 for his input.
At the bottom of their job application, they have some tough things to say about speeding tickets, DOT inspections, etc.
Anyone else have anything to say about them? -
I for got to add that about the tickets. Their policy about tickets is if you get just one ticket you will lose your job.
Getsinyourblood Thanks this. -
Yes I read that. That is pretty tough.

I applied to a Craigslist advertisement today (well Friday) and they called to schedule my physical and drug test locally. Orientation apparently would be in Laredo. They offer two positions in San Antonio, local p&d at $17 an hour and a local line haul, down to Laredo 2x a night at $.45 cpm. Decent pay but other than this thread there is very little info on them. I am scheduled for orientation on Monday with werner (yes werner... Not the best I know) for a similar local home daily line haul for far less pay but their recruiter was far more forth coming with information. Dawn in recruiting made zero attempt really to even explain the position at any length. Coupled with the info in this thread I may just keep them in the back of my mind going forward. $.45 cpm is a lot of moolah, but not if your waiting around three hours a shift for your loads to shuttle.

I answered a craigslist ad out of their St Louis office late on a Saturday night. Just a general request for information on one of their home-daily runs. A recruiter called me back less than a minute after I hit "submit" and encouraged me to fill out the complete online application and we would talk. Two days later my FM is asking if there's a problem since they got a call confirming my employment. Soon after that, the Rush guy calls back saying I've been cleared to enter their orientation program and when could I start?
Told him that all I wanted to do was ask questions at the most, I wasn't going to an orientation program and I didn't appreciate Rush contacting my current employer. A couple of weeks later his name and number was gone the ad and replaced by an ad for a recruiter position.

I've been with the company for almost a year and the slip seat positions weren't for me but now I run a dedicated route to Indiana and love it. Also in my 18 years of experience have never made more money anywhere else and if your not the sharpest tool in the shed well you don't get used very much so if you are lazy you shouldn't bother applying.

Have any of you worked for Rich Logistics?
