Approx. $675 for me to re-wire my entire step deck. That was with me doing all the labor, as well as, installing all new lights, grommets, plugs, and 7 way plug. Yours could probably be done for less b/c I have a decent amount of lights. (Lots of lights)

That was also with using arctic insulated cable. This way I don't have to do it again when the salt try's to eat it.

not a hard job to do. and not to costly if done right it will pay it back to you over time. first as large car said. use good wire, good connectors. I would also recommend good led lights pre higher end ones new pigtails. get heat shrink connectors as well as the tubing. when I did mine years back I put the heat shrink connectors and 2 sets of tubing on each spice. the guy I sold it told is still running it with the same lights and has not repaired one wire. also might think of enclosing your lights

I would avoid the heat shrink tubing connectors that are not self-sealing. The better self-sealing types actually seals around the wire and covering so not to allow oxygen in which helps with break down the copper with oxidation.
