Question to everyone - Are you willing to write reviews about shippers and receivers that you have been to, so that you and your trucking peers would access that info and avoid horrible places, while knowing good places as well?

I did some research at this forum (section "Shippers & Receivers - Good or Bad") and here is the fact - there are less than 150 actual reviews about shippers/receivers written in entire 2014. Does it mean that people just don't care to share their experience? Or they don't have connection at location to write reviews? Or it just doesn't make sense to write those reviews?

Please help me understand this. I thought it would be great to have a lot of reviews that could help drivers to be more efficient at their jobs.

What good would it do? Us company drivers don't have much of a choice on where we go. And I've been to the same place on different days and had wildly varying experiences. I think driver attitude plays a big role too.

Do you mean that one has to come to bad location with patience and understanding, knowing that there is huge chance to waste 5+ hrs?

If you do not want to go to certain shipper / receivers it is basically the same as hauling low $ freight there are 10 trucks in line behind you that will that's the nature of trucking

so you mean that there is bigger supply than demand in trucking industry and there will always be some truckers who will take any garbage location?

What good is an attitude going to do? If you know this going into a situation you charge accordingly. If they won't pay decline the offer. I've had places I absolutely hated to go but the money was good so I kept on going there time after time.

Do folks generally have to sit long intervals before finding loads back out of El paso Tx.? I turned a load down today $ 1700 Corsicana Tx to El paso because I didn't think I could find 14000 lb or less, (lightweight) freight back out of there on the return trip.
