I got some new coolant about 2 months ago after getting my radiator replaced. Is it okay to reuse the coolant after draining it? I’ve heard about using some kind of filter when pouring it back in. Not sure what kind of filter people talk about.

All I've ever used is a paint strainer to catch the lumps. They lay in the bottom of a funnel real nice.

The 110 - 120 works just fine for me.

I usually drain coolant in to clean buckets. I just pour it back in the radiator.
To be sure the liquid going in doesn't have any large impurities use a funnel with a screen or strain the liquid thru a coffee filter
I only reuse fluid if the reason to drain is to change a cooling system component.
If the motor overheated or fluid is contaminated with diesel, def or oil don't reuse it. I also strip test it for pH balanceLast edited: Nov 12, 2018

You should be draining it a clean bucket, then just pour straight back into the engine. If you need, a fine mesh strainer would be fine.

Then theres the ol tee shirt in the funnel!
