I have been hearing lately that people are using crude oil trailers to haul Ethanol. The benefits is it is way way cheaper to buy a crude oil trailer and spend ~1,000 dollars to retrofit it with a rack control module.
One con I can think of is that you only have one compartment so you cant haul multiple types of fuels. If that isn't a deal breaker then you can add a trailer to your fleet for something like 20 thousand dollars less.
Has anyone else heard or considered this? What are your thoughts?
