    I have taken the hazmat endorsement test in NY and failed, it seems complicated to me atleast. I have read the manual a few times but I'm sure there are things to still learn. I am wondering if any of you guys would be able to provide resources (websites, books, etc) that can help furthur my learning to be better prepared the test and for the work ahead. Anything that'll help me understand the tables better, how the materials are categorized, what all of those numbers mean. Anything will help, I have a basic understanding but I still find it complicated. Thanks.

    I studied the hazmat chapter till I could memorize it in my sleep.So you should start there .Get yourself a cdl manual from your DMV.Once you got that memorized and understand it go online and take hazmat tests from many sites.Go to Google type cdl prep test.You'll find many websites.

    The manual should have questions in the hazmat section. Study those, over and over and over.......

    This link has every question that may be on any HazMat test. Take and retake these practice tests until you pass. It's free.

    The best way is not to read the manual and try to understand all the real-world conditions and implications. Read each question, then read the right answer, and only the right answer. Do not read the wrong answers. If you will follow this advice on test day ONE possible answer on each question will be familiar. Pick that answer. The endorsements tests are not real-life, not essay, and not topics for a seminar. They are either A, B, C, or D. Pick it and move on.
