Save all the money you can. You saved the labor to remove, disassemble, reassemble, and reinstall the dpf assembly. That is a good thing. However take it to someone who has the computer software to hookup and finish the job. Shouldn't be much more than an hour. Tell them exactly what you want done, pull codes and clear them. Diag any active codes if they affect driveability. If not program the ECM, ACM, and VECU. Put it into a crystal sub monitor temps and pressures, check and clear codes. You will get some codes during the programming but none should be active. If any come active during the regen then diag them. Let them know what you have done already so they don't try to buffalo you into in needed operations. If the service writer acts like he doesn't know what is going on then speak directly to the shop foreman or the service manager.

i have a d13 2012 with 920000 miles, had the egr cooler replaced, replaced the turbo n vgt, i had the filters baked at volvo and my soot level is still at almost full and asks for parked regen all the time. i also replaced the delta p sensor on the dpf and still soot level goes up within 200 miles after forced regen that i perform with the OTR reset tool. Any other ideas? i was instructed by volvo to update the venturi pipe too but I gave up and venturi pipe small holes are not clogged or anything.

Try all 3 dpf temperature sensors should be under $200 and you can do it yourself

You can bake the DPF but after coolant from the EGR it's flow is permanently damaged.

Sometimes you can get away with it after baking but if you're having this continuous regen problem the best thing you can do is to replace the filter with new.

Backpressure from lack of DPF flow causes that soot gauge to climb.

Just stopped by volvo in tifton, ga. they sticked a camera into dpf n confirmed its clogged again with fibers that came from cracked flex pipe that is right before the dpf inlet. they claim the pipe cracked inside and released fibers and clogged filter. recommended to replace flex pipe and take filter for cleaning again. will do this in the weekend and we will see.
