Replacing Thermo King SB 200tg Condensor belt

    I have a SB200tg trying to replace the upper belt (condensor) How do I get it past the squirrel cage w/o taking everything a part. Whats the trick .Thanks !!!!

    Real PITA.
    Look inside the cage slowly turning it. See the clamping bolts? lose them and try to slide cage left until enough gap between cage and shroud to take belt off.
    Don't hammer hard, cage is aluminum easy to bent.
    Apply WD 40 and some heat.
    After new belt is on place slide cage right and tighten bolts.

    Thanks for the info. That is what I thought but I was hoping for a miracle . It amazes me they way they build some of this stuff . Thanks again

    Another way of doing it is to mark position of the shroud with a paint marker and remove the 10 mm bolts and then run the belt over the blower wheel.Moving the whole wheel over can be very difficult if the hub is seized.
