More than likely not. As with many foodservice companies, we too are a conglomeration of past companies that were bought and then folded into the Reinhart name. Each division seems to operate with different imperatives. For example, here in my market in NC I run into trucks from our division in Tennessee and Atlanta. And by that, I mean not just in passing, but often times in the same plaza, but those guys division owns the account in the same town. Weird. I don't know if GFS does the same thing, but I have seen those guys out here with both chain alliance trucks, and what looks to be street, which I believe they run from the Charlotte area nowadays.

Not sure the exact amount, but less than route guys, but much, much easier work. None of them are starving, I will say that.

Were the same way kind of our Chains run out of the warehouse and certain accounts are tagged as chains and others are tagged as broad line or street level in Reinhardt lingo. My Thursday I do a Holiday Inn type place and across the street from me is a chain truck at a chain restaurant. Friday morning I go to a place a bar and grill and across the street is a regional chain account of ours and I'll see the chain alliance there across the street from me. GFS has bought out other companies although not to many up here that I can recall, down south though they bought out some like in Florida and Texas and they bought out some in New England.

Yeah I see Reinhardt here in Cleveland pulling a trailer that says AGAR Food Server "New Englands Leader in Broadline Food Service" I did some research and it's exactly what you said AGAR was a company that Reinhardt bought out to tap into the north east and somehow one of there trailers made it all the way down here to North East, Ohio.

Reinhart detroit is .2175/case, .2675/mile 5.35/stop 70$ for a over nighter 45 for a backhaul. 22$/hr downtime. 50$ just for being on call. May have anywhere between 1000-1400 cases 8 to 16 stops. Most routes pay at the very least 300$ typical week is 4 days but can easily work 5 and if your fast enough to keep your 70hr low you can get a 6th.. your pay is greatly affected by your scanning. (We scan every individual box at every stop with a hand held) and once a month if you have kept your scanning above 98% with minimal damages/credits you get a very generous bonus of anywhere between 300 to 800$ just for doing your job..very hard work, very bad hourS, very hard with a family due to working all midnights.. but honestly i have never had less then a 2000$ take home check on a bi weekly pay scale.. grossing around 1500 a week

GFS does Qudoba too we share them with you guys? I don't know how they have the territory borders broke down because GFS does all the Qudoba's in Cleveland.

You know, I thought Cleveland did all the locals, but I guess Cleveland just does Subway I just assumed they did I thought it would have made sense and then you guys out of Detroit are doing the other places which makes sense. Yeah the yard I work out of is across the street from Valley View Big Boy and I know all those accounts.

GFS did PF Changs too. I from the westside of Cleveland I know all those stops you mentioned LOL.

Do you ever do the Potbelly Sandwhich downtown on Euclid Ave? Where you park in the street and the transit police come by and write you a ticket? I know you guys do that account I saw one of your lift gate trucks there.

The Famous Daves in North Olmstead I've seen them take the lift gate truck there and drive a whole skid of ribs right to the back door of the restaurant. That stops probably several skids and takes buys probably lots of heavy pork products.

Pretty funny the potbelly on euclid is not my route but yes we do that store monday/friday route does. The olmstead famous daves is my hardest store for sure. If not the hardest store we have period.. idk if u see it by driving by but that store sits on a very "looks can be deceiving" hill that store every single friday is atleast 300 cases and trying to pull a pallet up that hill to the back door ur talking about is probably the closest thing to self mutilation u can get.. its one of those stops where u pull 2 pallets and almost are thankful u have to scan them just to catch ur breath.. but then u got another 2 pallets AND your blocking a whole lane of traffic in the mall to be as close to the hill as u can be so in the maddness your getting honked at and cussed out.. (i love it) The stops in cleveland i do personally the moes inside the cleveland hospital, moes in avon on detroit road, FD north olmstead, the 2 big boys we discussed and also the big boy on som center rd, (big boy burgers and shakes, some .kind of new concept if big boy) and as far as qdoba i know the farthest one we do is in bowling green on main street.. its the only one with 2 ridiculous steps leading into the closet sized cooler..tonight i do the famous daves in cedar point along with fostoria, napolean, and a few other ohio citys, then i do the 4 stops on the turnpike theres a einstein, and burgerking on both sides of 80 dock drops. But on topic ya man its funny how these routes get put together i dont understand it lol.. i know our division goes as far as kentucky for 2 noodles lmao.. its strange also because our cinncinatti route does 13 stores in the metro cinnci but we go to the cinncinatti domicile to drop off ONE store being a mongolian grill.. lol theres got to be a method to the maddness.. best of luck to u man

That Big Boy on S.O.M center is a brand new concept really there are not to many Big Boys in Cleveland any more used to be Manors and Elias Brothers Big Boy, but both those franchises are gone bye bye. Elias brothers I think had there own private fleet there used to be an old school chrome refer trailer behind the Elias brothers Big Boy on Brookpark and it said Elias brothers on it.

If you go to Cinncinati and Toledo area Big Boy is popular up there, but it's Frisch Big Boy which isn't corporate Michigan Big Boy and Frisch Big Boy has there own private fleet. Actually working for Frisch Big Boy probably isn't a bad gig it's there private fleet all there own restaurants from Toledo-Kentucky.

This is really old School Elias Brother private fleet this is old school vintage food service:

@killak1983 I saw I think you or one of your Detroit Co-Workers today at Big Boy both of them the one on Granger and the one on Brookpark Road. It was about 1:00pm there was a lift gate Reinhardt Truck backed up to the Big Boy on Granger Road. I'm not to far away from there and always around never know when your going to bump into people. That's the funny thing about trucking it's a big club and a small world to, because it's like everyone kind of knows each other.
