    I saw a very interesting load going 300 miles into Maspeth NY paying $2500.

    No one was picking it up and I have no idea what the load/cargo is. I can only theorize that this is one of them meat loads...lol

    Why in the world would such a load sit all day? Is there something I'm not aware of?

    Lotta people don't like driving in New York. Old narrow streets and lots of traffic. I'd have taken it though.

    If it was meat out of Omaha 4500 would have been a good rate .
    Outbound from the northeast pays squat .
