I noticed at least 4 CRST trucks going through New Mexico today with a red cab instead of the usual gold.
Are those...L/P? Dedicated? something else?
All 4 were pulling dry van trailers.
Red trucks?

Where in NM? I saw some in Albuquerque today.

SOME of the lease-purchase trucks are red. Their numbers typically begin with a letter (typically, "M"). A lot of the LP trucks are gold, as well, and many even bear the standard company regalia. If it looks like a company truck, but it's pulling a flatbed, it's also a LP truck.

They come from Crete and Schaffer and are LP

Or that one may have simply left later.

They bought a bunch of old Crete, Schaffer, and Transport America trucks and put those in the LP fleet not only on the Malone side, but also the Van side.

You all are right i just got done at their orientation on wed,i asked the same question

well my son drove one of those red trucks during his training phase for a full month..
it was an O/O truck but most of the red ones do the newbie training before they turn them loose with a co-driver...
at least that is what his trainer told him.. -
