Check the owner's manual or google.. I think normally it means "Master Warning" and to check the info center if you have one.
Midway30134 and ozzyway Thank this. -
Trl brake set but not tractor?
ozzyway Thanks this. -
Are you sure it's an asterik? I'm looking at the owners manual now and there is a flashing triangle with an exclamation point in it is the only triangle one I see. That's your ATC button you must of accidentally pushed to allow wheel slip.
I might be looking at the wrong year. Red usually means danger. Shut the truck down until you read your owners manual. -
Condo got it. My Cassie is a 12, same atc light.

The only time I had the red triangle with an exclamation point come on in a freightliner was a millisecond before starting to lose traction on an icy bridge. I backed off the accelerator and steered into a slight yaw and it corrected itself quickly.
I recently had a yellow triangle with exclamation point come on when water was building up on the roadway in a heavy rain and I backed down on the speed. No issues were felt with hydroplaning.
These are warning lights that note you have issues with traction for sure. Not sure if they also come on if you are taking a corner too fast or having a hard braking event. Back off on the speed, have plenty of following distance, and be LIGHT on the throttle.
If these lights are blinking continuously and you think they aren't associated with traction or other driving related events, then it is likely the sensors need to be cleaned or replaced. Get it in the shop.Oldironfan Thanks this. -
I'd like to add that both those incidents noted above were without ATC engaged. Seems more like a warning system for the driver.
Would like to hear back more from the OP on this.Oldironfan Thanks this. -
Not the OP but just had the same problem. It just meant that ATC has been deactivated. Hit ATC toggle and it goes away.
Oldironfan Thanks this. -
If you ever want to go through something like mud and want to have full power to the wheels be sure to disable ATC. ATC will derate the motor to prevent wheel slip and not something you want to have happen when you need to hold on to your momentum.Lepton1 and Oldironfan Thank this. -
It means this.
Dave_in_AZ, Lepton1 and Oldironfan Thank this.
