Red glad hand blows air

    I unhooked from a trailer today and when I did I still had air coming from the red gladhand. Nothing from the blue just the red. I pulled the valve and reset it but nothing changed I hooked up to my new trailer and everything seemed OK except when I release the trailer brakes it makes a weird noise and they release immediately whereas before it usually took 5 to 10 seconds. Any idea why air would be blowing from my red glad hand when unhooked?

    Either the Emergency (spool) valve is still pressed in (released) or its leaking really bad. The blue (service) line will only leak air when you apply the brakes (brake pedal or hand valve).
