Need more details. Suspensions for what and how long ago? And don’t lie. Just throw it out there so we can answer your question honestly and with accuracy.

I got suspended for not paying fines. My license got reinstated back in aug and I thought that ment I had my license back I didn’t know I would have to redo the driving tests so I ended up getting pulled over and found out I was still suspended.

Not trying to be a smart Alec or anything here but we need like detailed information so we can answer you correctly. You say you didn’t pay fines, what were the fines for? I mean they could’ve been for moving violations or parking tickets. There’s a lot of people on this forum that kind of know how trucking companies process applications and what they look for and what they exclude. If you have a bunch of moving violations and then you got a suspended license for not paying those fines, you’re gonna have more trouble than if it was just for something insignificant. The fact that you got caught driving on a suspended license is gonna be the major obstacle though.

I’ll give you an example, if you got a suspended license for like reckless driving, and it happened a year ago? You’re probably wasting your time. If it was for something like a DUI? You’re definitely wasting your time. It was for a speeding ticket and then you didn’t pay it, there’s probably companies that will still take you but they’re not gonna like that driving on a suspended license. That’s kind of a major violation in the trucking industry.

The person that ran into me got arrested because they had outstanding warrants for failure to appear .

They got tickets for two previous accidents they caused , didn’t pay and didn’t bother to show up in court either .

why would people not pay and not show up in court on the court date ?

do they think the cops will just ignore it ?

And again , you need to state what the tickets you didn’t pay were for,
It could be a parking ticket or it could be a DUI .

    there’s a big difference .

You'll have to go with a 2nd chance company.
Were are you located; state & nearest city/town?
Try to submit the applications before any phone calls. Call a day or two after you've submitted the applications.

Mine got suspended for not paying an overweight ticket. One of those deals where the company tells you to run it and they will pay the fine. They didn’t. The fine fortunately was a non-moving violation. That might be the difference because it has never been an issue.

Then again, my suspension hit in the late 90s. Rules were completely different.

So basically you were driving around on a suspended license for about 10 years? Roughly? I don’t know man you might need to wait a few years. There’s others on this form that no more than me about this stuff and they’ll probably chime in. But if you got caught a couple times driving on a suspended license? Might wanna look into something else is my opinion
