Fell off a truck few years back and destroyed my throwing arm...
With that being said....I'm asking for advice or solution(s) to getting 4" straps over high loads..
I did/do the rope then pull strap over and it takes so long to finish a simle job...
Cant afford $600 for the COBRA strap thrower (yet a great idea)
Guidance and advice is appreciated
Really need advice....throwing straps over high loads

Other than climbing on top of the load (which Im sure with a bad arm is not feesable)
Your kinda S.O.L.....Does your other arm work? become a switch hitter and you'll be fine.
How are you Tarping....Chaining, and such?? I would think a bad arm would keep you from those tasks alsoblairandgretchen Thanks this. -
A extendable fiberglass painters pole, a little diy work to make a half cup to hold the roll, reach up give it a pop, over it goes.
Iron-Man and blairandgretchen Thank this. -
Man thats rough,.. especially with deck loads. Thats like asking how to drive a 13 spd with 1 leg. Other than the pole method mentioned,.. I honestly dont know.
Sorry I'm of no help.

Try one of the dog ball throwers use some duct tape to hold it briefly then as you throw she will fly. With minimal effort.
I posted this on another thread.
G13Tomcat and blairandgretchen Thank this. -
I often wondered about a simple sprung cup, to fire them over the top. Is that kinda the COBRA idea?

Other idea. Make a potato launcher out of a Folgers can. Use your air hose(50') apply air with ball valve. Instant dump and launch. Hell if they can launch t-shirts. I bet ya can launch a 4" roll.
MJ1657 Thanks this.
