you need a football field for all of them. now if you had put a t-600 in there it would have been a different story lol

whatever you have you can adjust the stops .........just turn wheel both directions make sure you have clerance between tire and spring , steering resivor, etc.

I used to work for Kenworth and now work for Volvo. The T-600's are nice but I think the VNL series from Volvo has the best turning radius. And that's about all they have going for them..... get the KW.

I've had 2 Petes and 2 W9s. The Petes did alright and both W9s sucked for turning radius. The W9 I have now, I took out one steering stop and the other one I backed in until my tire just barely rubbed the pitman arm and it does pretty good now....at least good enough that I don't complain about it anymore.

Just a word caution, if you go in too far with the stops they will rub the front wheel seals. I learned that one the hard way.

I guess wheelbase is wheelbase, setbacks give you a little more overhang out front.I guess once you have adjusted the stops what more can you do?Tire diameter 24.5 vs.22.5 the smaller could give you a bit.Try turning a W900L with a 320"wheelbase and if that isn't bad enough try crossing some RR crossings or getting into some peoples ideas of pits for loading docks!

the otherday i was at a shipper and a guy with a 359 pete with 300in wheel base and a spread axle reefer. took him about 20 times before he had to drop the trailer and get a yard dog to put it in for him..granted it was a really tight dock.i guess i cant figure out why anyone would have this combo for box/ref work.also he only had a 48in sleeper.you could have parked a car between the sleeper and the trailer.. Maybe ,but on some front ends like those used on the KW the hub will hit the steering stop ,so you could completely remove the bolt on the hub ,and still have very poor lock 2 lock steering .
