Anyone know where I can buy a "Mega" box of assorted DOT approved quick connect fittings? I have searched the web and seems can only get them all individually... Would be nice to buy a huge assortment of them so I won't be caught without that one that I need when the situation arises...

Just get a handful of each size airline on your truck. should be 1/4, 3/8, 1/2 inch. And possibly 1/8th inch (splitter valve, hvac controls)

Do you think it'd be better to get a bunch of compression fittings since you'll be swapping them out anyway? If you're set on using ptc fittings, try searching on Amazon for air brake fittings. Parker sells them on there, but it doesn't seem much cheaper buying in bulk.

If they are completely all brass quick disconnect fittings like Volvo has used from 1998 to present, you can just replace the o-ring inside by removing the brass outer ring with a pair of needle nose pliers and using a small L shaped pick, remove the o-ring and replace with new.

If they are plastic and brass like the ones used on the Crapcadia, they cannot be refurbished and need to be replaced.

The OEM Crapcadia ones can be purchased at the Freightshaker Stealership for a few dollars each, vs. the all brass ones which are $12-20 a piece.

The OEM Crapcadia ones are Made in China, and when I sourced them out through the Vendor that supplies them, I calculated that with online purchase and shipping, it would be more cost effective purchase them at your local Freightshaker Stealership.

Don't want to insult anyone but there are a lot of different types of quick air line connectors and I don't think any of them are dot approved.

Quick air connections are what is used in the shop, not on a truck. There are a few different types, in my home shop I have three different types that are not interchangeable.

If you are talking about push on air line connectors that are used by truck companies, that may be what you are talking about. The push on connectors leak after a while, replace them.

If it is the latter, then don't mess around and get dot approved brass fittings with Ferrels. You can get a kit for under $75.

The push together type can leak when used on old lines, especially quarter inch. Get a supply of both types.

I have a friend that used to sell the push together type to mfg., when he went back to active duty he gave me his samples, I have a big tackle box of all sizes and styles. Lucky me.

I did see a assorted box of fittings a few weeks ago, not sure but I think it was at fleet pride

They leak on new lines too, I had a nightmare of a time with my second truck constantly doing a leak down while sitting, it was a push on connection to the leveling valve that was replaced with the new line I put on. Went to brass and never had an issue.

1511968960496-257019846.jpg both of these kinds are DOT approved. I really don't care which one I buy I just want a assortment of all different sizes. Tired of having a leaky one and having to stop at 4 or 5 different suppliers just to track 1 down.
