So, I graduated from SAGE Technical Services a week ago and have been filling out applications, and handing them in. I got my first interview for a local company, on Monday. Now, I hope this questions doesn't come off as being too stupid, but I thought I'd pose it: what are some good questions to ask, in your interview? What should I look for when going for a drive (you know, to show my skills off)? You know, questions and things to look for and ask, that rookies like myself might not know what to look for and ask.
Thanks in advance to all of the people who chime in!

Non forced dispatch? Look real deep into accessory pay, these add ons like detention and layover make a bad miles week still profitable.

As a new driver, I would ask any question that comes to mind. Here are some that I would ask
1. Pay. 2. benefits 3. home time 4. what type of equipment do they use 5.passenger or pet policy 6. what are their primary running lanes 7. orientation 8. average weekly miles. These are some of the basic ones that I would ask and any other that may come to mind for youHauntedSchizo19 Thanks this. -
Did you find a good company? Hope so!

Stay on it and don't get discouraged. The big companies will still be there before you have to go to school all over again.... They told me if I didn't find a job in three months, that I should go back to school. Wt!
