    2- logs must be: *
    a. Updated to the last midnight
    b. Current to the last change of duty status
    c. In your possession for the last 7 days
    d. Both b & c
    ----
    3- you are "off duty" from October 28th until November 3rd. You may: *
    a. Combine all days on one log page
    b. Fill out a log for each day off
    c. Fill out 1 log for October and 1 log for November
    d. Not fill out any logs at all
    e Both b & c

    CDC. Well, at least that's what I do on paper. Remember, the carrier must keep them for 6 months. If you run 2 months together, they must keep them longer. I don't know about ELD though.

    Actually, A or B are correct.

    C says “fill out one log for October , and one for November “

    Like, the whole month?

    I dunno. I left school a hot minute ago. I struggled teaching the great nephew to get his car license too. Them ABCD tests can be tricky.

    So you don’t have to have a log page for yesterday or the day before?

    For multiple consecutive days off you can log them all on one log page, if they are all in the same month. You cannot combine days off in different months, I think this is answered in the FMCSA guidance & FAQS.
