I'm just seeking some input on the job description/work environment operating a Vac Truck for an oilfield service? I'm 36 and in decent shape so i'd like to make sure its not just for the younger group.

I was thinking about applying to an outfit called CDM Oilfield Services in Alberta and if anyone has experience or knows of this company and how they treat the workers it would be great.

I live in MB, so the location of CDM is not to bad of a drive for me if I can get hired.

    Any input would be appreciated.

    Thank you in advance.

Is it body vac or semi vac? Did they say what you would be doing?

Combo unit is just a big wash unit and vac truck to clean up your mess. Be prepared to get very dirty. Hard work, not really. Alot of confined space work inside tanks. Stay away from body vac working with the rigs. You'll be busting your ### every hour of the day.
