Does anyone know where the fuse for the Qualcomm is typically located? Another time it was out, I asked the tech and was told "behind the dashboard", presumably to keep drivers from yanking it if they're about to run out of hours. I've been sitting and waiting to get into the shop since Friday morning and they're not going to get to it until Sunday so I'd like to see if it's something easy to fix and get out of here.

Depends on what kind of truck you have, ..
What's the Quallcom doing? Maybe hold down one of the buttons to reset it -

That fuse box is behind the glove box, should have to remove 4 torch head screws to get to it.
I'd be under the bunk wiggling every cord to the brain of it too. Unless I wanted the day offJC1971 Thanks this. -

Heck no!
That's the day to break out the coloring book... er, paper logs, and get in some SERIOUS miles!tucker Thanks this. -
Like they said, remove screws to glove box. On the glove box or on the plastic cover that sits over the fuses will tell you fuse locations. It will say "fleet management " on the fuse you want. If your having QC problems you can pull the fuse and wait couple minutes then install it and it will re-boot the system.

You are required to have a paper log as backup anyway, does your company prohibit it's use?Lepton1 Thanks this. -
I drive a '16 cascadia with people net. Not sure about Qualcomm, but try checking in the front of the battery box, which should be under the catwalk.

It's fixed now. Thanks for the replies. I pulled the fuse and replaced it. Also, pushed in hard on the cord going to the QC and it came on, so I'm not 100% sure what it was.
I just came out of hometime and I didn't want to run the next 3 to 4 weeks on paper logs and having to call in to load and empty and get load info. Especially with the DOT blitz coming soon. I think I'm alright with paper logs, they look pretty good the few times I've had to do them, but I'm not completely confident that they'll pass DOT scrutiny.
It just sucks that I sat here for 1 1/2 days for nothing, but the shop told me that it would probably be that afternoon that the truck would get in Then they said the next morning. Then this morning they said tomorrow, but I'm probably not telling anyone what they haven't experienced before with a megacarrier.
