Purple Cushion Seat? Worth it?

had one. (The royal) and it worked very well, then got a new truck with a good seat in it.

Oh and the wife took it from me before I could but it in the new truck.

but yes it's worth it. The only thing I didn't like about it was that it raised me up in the seat further than I normally like, but got used to it...

Sure glad some have a sick mind like me.

 

They are selling a mattress now to which for team drivers may be good, it shows someone dropping onto the mattress with eggs on it and they did now break.

 

I have one and don't use it. It makes me unstable in the seat and cuts off circulation in my legs.

 

That video makes me want to go out and buy one NOW!!

 

I did a lot of research on pads and concluded one isn’t right for me. My seat pain comes from the back of my thigh as it rests right where the steel support bar is. So no matter how much padding is on the seat, the narrow steel bar running down my thigh under the cushion will provide a lot of discomfort. It’s almost like the seat needs to have a flat board, then cushion on top.

Anyway as far as purple ultimate cushion it will work great for coccyx pain and the like. Biggest issue is I hear it gets warmer in summer months (some people place a towel over it) and it can move when you sit down and get up. You can also put it under a seat cover from Walmart.
