Do yall think it would be possible to pull this trailer with a regular big truck? Do be specific a 06 Volvo 670. I've read that it is possible if you can move your 5th wheel back far enough in general. thinking about buying this but my personal truck doesn't have a 5th wheel hitch set up.

Can you get fifth wheel far enough back?

    How about fifth wheel height?

Do you have brake controller if towing regularly?

5th wheel on the truck is around 4' tall of course as im sure you know it slants down which would give it a bit lower clearance maybe 4 inches or so.

don't have a brake controller yet but im sure one could be rigged up for it. i would just be towing it to my house in the mean time.

My 5th wheel height is almost the same on my pickup and semi. Within a couple inches anyway.
You will need an electronic brake adaptor, as well as the proper wire adaptor. All that can be gotten/made for less than $150. The largest expense is you will likely need a king pin box extension. Those can be $500 or $2,500 depending on the camper.
    Here are a few examples...

Another thing I just realized. If you are looking to buy, make dang sure you dont ming crawling into bed. Not being able to stand fully upright in the bed area royalty blows. When I bought mine I didn't think it would be bad, but getting up in the middle of the night to use the restroom without stumbling all over the place isn't fun.
Bad enough that I'm looking to sell and buy a diffrent one for that reason alone.

Pretty sure this one's tall enough but either way it's going to be used for deer lease purposes and such. I'm not going to have enough time to get my big truck ready to pull this thing it looks like so looking into renting a truck with a 5th wheel. haven't found one so far.

Does the trailer have the same size kingpin as the fifth wheel is designed to accept?

Check Craigslist or call an rv place. You might have better luck finding someone to tow it for you. That or start asking all your buddies if they know someone with a 5th wheel.

Yea. Same kingpin. Like mentioned before though the limit is not really the physical hookup. It being legal and wanting to turn after hooking up. The turn issue is simply if the semi 5th wheel is not far enough back on the frame.

Yes you can. I moved one with a truck that had rgn ramps.. to wire lights you wire the plug into the tractor tail lights. The reason for this is that on a RV and the tail lights on the truck, the brake and blinker run on the same wire.
