Do yall think it would be possible to pull this trailer with a regular big truck? Do be specific a 06 Volvo 670. I've read that it is possible if you can move your 5th wheel back far enough in general. thinking about buying this but my personal truck doesn't have a 5th wheel hitch set up.

Can you get fifth wheel far enough back?
How about fifth wheel height?
Do you have brake controller if towing regularly?joseph1853 Thanks this. -
don't have a brake controller yet but im sure one could be rigged up for it. i would just be towing it to my house in the mean time. -
My 5th wheel height is almost the same on my pickup and semi. Within a couple inches anyway.
You will need an electronic brake adaptor, as well as the proper wire adaptor. All that can be gotten/made for less than $150. The largest expense is you will likely need a king pin box extension. Those can be $500 or $2,500 depending on the camper.
Here are a few examples...

Another thing I just realized. If you are looking to buy, make dang sure you dont ming crawling into bed. Not being able to stand fully upright in the bed area royalty blows. When I bought mine I didn't think it would be bad, but getting up in the middle of the night to use the restroom without stumbling all over the place isn't fun.
Bad enough that I'm looking to sell and buy a diffrent one for that reason alone.lovesthedrive and joseph1853 Thank this. -

Does the trailer have the same size kingpin as the fifth wheel is designed to accept?
Tb0n3 Thanks this. -
joseph1853 Thanks this.

Yes you can. I moved one with a truck that had rgn ramps.. to wire lights you wire the plug into the tractor tail lights. The reason for this is that on a RV and the tail lights on the truck, the brake and blinker run on the same wire.
joseph1853 and lovesthedrive Thank this.
