Your most likely looking at around $4500 for a Gardner Denver hydropack setup for propane which are good. Depends on how much room is on your tractor and if they have to move some stuff around to mount it.

Dont know the units per say but you talking truck PTO/Hydro motor driving a hydro motor at the back of the truck and using a drive shaft from truck to drive the trailer pump?
and/or a Hydro motor on the trailer and use hoses from truck Hydro unit to drive the trailer motor?
The way my truck is set up I can do both by moving valves but all of the trailers I have used use the drive shaft to drive the pump on the trailer. You have to make sure you are in line to run the drive shaft, this can be an issue at some of our drops. You also need to hook & un-hook it before moving the truck/trailer, also have to do this to fill tanks at some drops. This also takes time to do and cuts into your HOS.
With the hose setup to drive the trailer hydro pump motor if done right can be kept hooked up all the time like the air hoses, don't need to be in line. It is a nice setup as I used it on the trainers truck/trailer.

The co. I work for has a bunch of hydro pac's and I hear drivers complain of them getting to hot,I myself have not used one, I have 50 gal tank and an oil cooler that looks like a little radiator with an electric fan,and it has worked fine.

If the HydraPak is installed and maintained properly, it won't overheat.

A former employer's HydraPaks used to overheat so badly after 10 or 15 minutes that the fan would stop turning. By contrast, I run the HydraPak on my current employer's truck for an hour at a time, and none of our trucks have ever had a problem with the HP.

That's close to what I run also, except I run a 5 gal tank and a larger oil cooler. Been running it for years no problems. I change the oil and filter once a year.

The only reason they over heat is running the RPM's to high or fast.
