    Stay far away from this joke of a company. I went to orientation for this place and it was a nightmare. I went to their address in Indiana, only to find out they are in Chicago. Had to go to Chicago and meet the safety lady for paperwork. She told only give me last 2 jobs, no more, not the 10yrs. They took us to do our drug test and then told us that we had to figure out a place to sleep cause they don't pay for hotels and wouldn't let us sleep in our trucks. No one in the company had told us any of this before hand. So we get to our trucks the next day and they yell us, if you need more time on your log to call, not text cause it's against the law. So I should have left all the alarms had been going off. So I left and did my 1st run and they wanted me to deadhead almost 7hrs to get a load(I'm paying for the fuel). I told them no and they said then leave the truck and find my way home. This place is a joke. I have been driving for 30yrs and this is the worst company I've ever seen.

    After decades in the industry I'm surprised you haven't become jaded and aware of how cruddy the industry is. Not doing any research ahead of time about the company seems unbelievable to me.

    While there are a number of bad companies in the Chicago area. Some hidden gems are some the best pay in the industry GP Transco and it is in Joliet, IL which is like saying you are in Garland, texas or one the other cities and not being a part of Dallas area. Some drivers complain about the way it operates however even then the bulk of their drivers refuse to leave because the pay is the highest they ever had so it can't be that bad. Some megas pull all kinds of bs crap Pam transport, CRST,CRE just name a few many would rather work at a Denny's as a chef or even a store clerk I know personally who said he prefers that than driving now, and its these bad companies somehow land these drivers and make them leave the workforce of trucking permanently that need be shut down.
