This advertisement was in the latest OOIDA Land Line Magazine. Do you guys think it's a good idea to have a bunch of truckers running around with non lethal firearms to protect their cargo? With record breaking sales of real firearms the past two years or so, I certainly don't think so... Kinda like bringing a knife to a gun fight?

I own one and carry it and my regular CCW
They do make CS gas rounds for the Burna
Call me stupid but I layer up and had my wife shoot me with the Burna at 50 feet.
Was curious about the rounds effectiveness
3 heavy coats and doubled up cardboard
It hurt pretty bad. So just a regular person in say a t shirt or single layer of clothing.
They are not going to stick around. Hit them with a CS gas round. They are gone. Burna has been a round for a few years now.
If you buy one order some CS rounds.
Anyone who was in the military will tell ya that CS gas will disorient you.

There's a difference between protecting your cab/sleeper and the cargo.

They want what is in the trailer. Go for it. They want me in the cab. Better bring your own body bag with you.

I prefer the real thing. I don’t need to be sitting in court watching some thug sit on the stand whimpering about how the big bad truck driver hurt him and how emotionally distressed he has become LOL.

Remington 870 and 9mm pistol 3 mags of 15rd hollows. Like Joey said, take whatever you want outta the trailer, but in the cab is where god will let bullets fly

Byrna advertises, or used to, on 850 KOA in Denver, I like the idea of less than lethal, and as @jason6541 pointed out, it's gonna hurt like a MOFO. The reality is, most cowards trying to break into the cab of a truck just having that thing pointed at them are going to turn tail and run, and those that don't well, it's going to be a life lesson. While they are writhing on the ground, be calling 911 and let the cops discuss that life lesson with them. I suspect, you'll have an easier time with your carrier if you've got something like that in the truck vs a regular firearm.

You'll run into state law issues with this toy just like tazers, mace and knives. Sorry, but it's my firearm all the way even in the Marxist states that have removed my Second Amendment rights from me. If I'm going to be made into a criminal, the real aggressor will not be around to gloat over it.

Actually, it's legal in all states, if you read the Byrna website and stuff surrounding it, it falls under the same class as a taser, there are specific restrictions for Ca and NY, but they also sell products that are legal for those states
