Eaton's own chart is misleading because the 8LL has only two reverses not three.
Anyway you don't need either of the low gears taking a test. Start and first or second and forget the low gears are there. They are just super low gears for spreading gravel or feeding a paver.Last edited: Aug 16, 2016

Toomanybikes Thanks this.

^^^ I stand corrected, looked it up; it does list three reverses.

street beater Thanks this. -
And dot will require you to downshift, for me it was twice. Both times from 10 to 9th.
Also, If you touch a curb, it is an automatic fail. -
Deep reduction!okiedokie Thanks this. -
A little different rowing throught the gears with a deep reduction trans.
-
Only ever used deep reduction once, while stuck in some deep Doo Doo. -
I was thinking of something completely different. But yeah, OP, DONT READ THIS. It'll confuse you with the blue button and splitting the low side.okiedokie Thanks this. -
Heck in a couple of million miles(20 yrs) the OP will be a driver. If they still have manuals.
