Were you able to fix this issue? I’m having the same problem, caused it when trying to fix an aftermarket digital air gauge, touched both terminals with a wrench and all gauges except for rpm and mph are not working, with the red flashing lights.

No. It comes and goes. They (red dots) will randomly start flickering, mostly at idle but sometimes while at higher rpms. It doesn't seem to cause any actual problems so just let it ride.
