    Hey everyone,
Was wondering if anyone here is working or has worked for Pro Drivers. I am ready for a change and this sounds like a strong possibility of what i may be looking for. Seems they are a staffing company for drivers. I like the idea of being able to change jobs without going through the whole interview proccess. I have been delivering refrigerated for to long. Kids are grown and thought I might do some OTR. This company seems to offer a little bit of everything. I appreciate any info out there

Someone I know does the PRODRIVERS thing. As I recall he told them when he prefers to work and how many hours,
they call him when they have something that matches and then he says YES or NO. He's retired so I don't think he really wants
to work that hard anyway. It sounded pretty simple to me...he usually takes about 2 regional trips a week...
    Good Luck man!

I had talked to the contact and as I said it sounded good. You all know how it "sounds" on the phone taliking to a recruiter/manager. I figures I would hit the forums and do a little research. I am really concerned about who mantains trucks, and if they would try and force me to drive an unsafe truck or violate HOS rules, as you would be driving for there customer? Lots of questions

Prodrivers is just like a temp agency. The company that your are contracted to on that specific job is the
company that maintains the truck. I suppose you have to be careful--I'd probably pull up SAFESTAT using the companies name
and see if they have major violations with DOT before I accepted that job. Do a real good PRETRIP and if there are problems--they can't make you
take an unsafe truck! Just my 2 cents...Good Luck BigPOPPA..

Did you go to work for ProDrivers? I am the manager in Houston and would like your feedback.
