    Did the online app
    spoke to a recruiter
she started working on my app told me to check back on Tuesday
Tuesday stated that they were just waiting on employment verifications
once that is done how long does it take before they contact you? Or should I continue to contact them?
And if all goes as planned how long after that do I make my way to Springfield?

You want to be contacting them. They are really busy now and forget to call back sometimes. If they dont call back it doesnt mean they dont want you.

It takes as long as it takes. Prime cannot speed-up the response made to them by your previous employers, and it's not Prime's fault that the FMCSA requires them to do a complete background on you. Yup, the recruiters are slammed. Expect it to be any other way in this economy? Once you get the background and cursory MVR check out of the way, they'll schedule you for the next orientation; they've been doing them weekly, but probably will have some kind of interruption coming up because of Labor Day. Also, you may do orientation in Salt Lake or Pittston PA... just depends.

Best advice: Plan on sitting on hold until a human answers the phone. Be patient, and try to be efficient in getting any addtional information they need back to them ASAP. If you can't manage that, go drive for Swift. They only require warm bodies, and will hire anything... they hired my ex-brother-in-law - YIKES!
