    as the subject line asks.

I haven't been anywhere south of CT in about 12 years now. so i couldn't tell my co-worker who has never been down that way today's costs, only from about 2004 when it was $30 to cross the GWB.

what is the price for trucks to cross over the GWB, and the New Rochelle, NY tolls, the NJTP from end to end, and the Tappen Zee on 287?

thanks in advance to all that respond!

It's about $125 to cross the George Washington bridge.

If you go to the north east, you need to have at least three to four hundred cash on hand.

yeah, i am pretty much now not going back that ways. is it the Throgs Neck, the goes over to LI, from the (near) Cross Bronx, when going south?

i had to go to LI a few times, to cover a run.

otherwise, it was the NJTP and the GWB, or the Tappan Zee. the New Rochelle......

yes, that i remember, do you still have to stay on top level both ways?

one time about a year after 9/11, i was going south and for the life of me, i could not get over to get to the top. NYPD's best, pulled me over, took my information and just said (actually quite politely) to not use the lower again.

cool cop, gave me one hell of a break, he (i think) could tell i was speaking the truth.

My mind shuts off if I have to go there but I think trucks stay on the lower deck. I've never had the pleasure of talking to nypd, but from what I read on here they seem to be sensible to drivers having issues getting around the place. Hope that always stays a personally unproven belief too because if I never go there again it was too soon.

Wow that's expensive I remember when it was $45.00 and needed around $200.00 for all the tolls.

yeah, i'm thinking they wanted us on the upper deck (in case any of us had explosives??) and that there would be less damages.

thanks, maybe someone else can confirm the upper/lower decks travel for all trucks.

and for the record, i too have no more plans to be any further south than what i do now..
