Premium Transportation Logistics (PTL) and the Premium Group from Toledo Ohio----

I am a fleet owner of expedited trucks. I was recruited to sign one of my trucks on with PTL. I intended to move the entire fleet there... so glad I didn't.
Recruiting and their advertisements assured an average rate of $1.80 per mile. We were also assured that PTL had "plenty of miles."

Our truck only got 1 load over 184 miles. The average rate was far below the $1.80 promised average. It didn't take long to see that PTL didn't have the miles to keep us busy. When it became apparent we couldn't even pay the fuel and driver we decided to cancel our contract.

When we finally received a settlement there was a nearly $150.00 discrepancy in the fuel tickets and the amount we were charged for fuel. Despite my calling and emailing management and ownership regarding these discrepancies I was never given an explanation.

We had obtained license plates from PTL and were paying $100.00 per week for these plates. When we cancelled the contract PTL deducted a full year for the license plates which were used less than 3 weeks.

PTL at the very least operates in a very unethical manner. PTL uses recruiting and advertising that is deceptive and downright dishonest. Please do not sign on with PTL, they are dishonest, they steal from their owner opps and they are the fast lane to bankruptcy.
