So yeah I need to wear cpap at night whatever, it's a family history of it anyhow no trolls here please need advice.
In a company 579 peterbuilt with I guess electric apu and auto start on dash. Auto start don't start till like after 12 hours or so. Volt meter on inverter reads 12.3 or lower during night with truck off. It just doesn't seem to be powering the cpap properly.
What can I say or do or have company do to truck to fix this.
This is just sort of a temporary job but I need the cpap to work period.
I know these new pacar don't like to idol. But is there any settings they can change to up the volts or start time or what?....

    tscottme and truckdriver31 Thank this.

You can run the cpap on 12v with no problem.

Buy a backup battery power source you charge all day when running that will then power your machine for at least 8-10 hours while you are shut down.

The NOCO cost me ~$100, and a single road call to jump start the battery could cost at least that.
Add to that the time waiting for the repair truck to get there... or family/friend with jumper cables.

I recently bought a car with a bad battery. It wasn't long before I found that NOCO, and it has been used several times since.
Even after I had a new battery installed, the next time I got home it was dead because of the cold temperatures during that 5 weeks.
Hook it up, hit the boost mode, and it starts right up - even at 10 degrees.

Even while on the road, Walmart has them.
It is a wise investment, because you may not have the money when you really need the jump.

I have the GB150 and it’s a great tool to keep under the seat of my truck.
