Looking to see if anyone has an idea were to post your resume online for driving jobs. I do have my resume posted on various sites for my background in management. But since I am looking to get back in this (drove for year in 2008/2009) I was wondering if there are site specific places for this.

    Thanks

Be careful. If you put one on the internet it'll be there forever and everyone and their brother will be calling you. That isn't nessiccarily a bad thing but it can get annoying.

I believe you can do that here, under Trucking jobs, to start. Or just Google CDL Class A Driver jobs, you'll get dozens of truck job.com listings to choose from. But you haven't driven since '09? You'll almost certainly be required to at least go through a refresher course.. Good Luck to you!

Well you see my resume has my 30+ year work history in another industry on it along with my 1 year of driving in 2008/2009. I wanted to post it to see if I got any calls but then as bBIGBLUEPETER stated then I would be getting all kinds of calls which I don't want.

And I don't understand --- if that is the case in screwed???? oh maybe you meant( i'm)

Set one up with a diff email address so you don't get spammed. Obviously cover your identity to a point.

But in the case of filling out a resume, you'll receive calls and emails from schools furthering your education.Trucking companies go more to websites where you fill out one app not so much a resume website. You may be waiting along time for a call from a trucking company.Best thing to do is go directly to the company you're most interested in and fill out their application.

Unless that 30+ work history in another field is with 1 company (impressive as it is) it won't mean an awful lot to a trucking company, except that you are stable. Now as to your 1 year of experience , it will be considered as out-of-date and most will require at the very least a refresher course and then a stint with a trainer. Hopefully you kept your CDL's
current and did not let them expire , if you did'nt keep them current , it's entirely possible that you'll have to start all over , maybe not probable but possible.
