Well I'm looking for a newer lightweight dump trailer. Curious what others have and how they are spec'd out? Currently have a full frame(steel)aluminum box, spring ride, steel wheels and it is kinda heavy in my opinion. Trailer is in excellent shape just needing something lighter. Loads pay tonnage.

Well, the one that we had is not a trailer but one of two vehicles. One is a 55 dodge flatbed dually with three speed manual on the column and a 455 or so up front... That one tares at 7600 and grosses 15200 ish when carefully loaded with a dallop of stone at Finksburg Aggregates, a railroad transloading yard that ships stone for paving.

The other vehicle is a super liner 500 mack, 18 foot dump? I'll have to revisit everything and check it again, but 21 or so to 25 ton of stone provided we have the top extensions for capcity weight limits be ###### is routine. Dirt only comes out to 9 ish tons in the bed.

mac half round frameless Are the lightest on the market, with a 12 Pete glider with a 63" bunk and 46 rears (40' trailer) I was 34420 full of fuel. In a 40 rear day cab I was 29960, when I got my spread I went up to 36200, MAC or trail star frameless are what I would go with and stay away from the framed paperweights unless your paving with it

Leased to Beelman and pull the frameless vantage’s they spec. I run around a half tank most times and am around 28,800. 2011 386 with a 63” bunk. Duals all the way around.

How are those vantage trailers in dumping a load. I have seen quite a few long frameless trailers that drag the pile away after you dump and pull forward?
