It’s not the fenders, it’s the way they are mounted. They have to much flex with the mounting locations that far apart and will crack. It’s a nice clean look that way though.

Your mounts are fine, it’s the distance between them. Hogebuilt wants the front to have the brackets they make that sit on the outside. They aren’t as clean of a look as how yours are done. My last four trucks have all had fenders with the front having the bracket I mentioned and I have had none of them crack.
